đ Opening Rules for a First Impression Specialist
1. Arrive Early & Be Prepared
Come in about 5 minutes before your scheduled shift to settle in.
Check your appearance and ensure you're in dress code and have your name tag on. name tags should always be worn!
2. Check Technology
Make sure computers are powered on and pulled up to the unemployment walk in screen as well as the front desk sign in screen.
Make sure the internet is connected and properly working
Turn on Tvâs to the correct videos
3. Secure & Sanitize
Do a walkthrough of the lobby to ensure cleanliness , wipe down all surfaces
Turn on the big lights and the lamps
open the blinds
Be sure not to unlock the door until 8 AM
4. Organize the desk
Make sure sign in sheet are stocked and ready to go
wipe down the desk, phones and computers
listen to voicemails and right them down on the voicemail sheet to call back
5. Review the employee wall
Check the employee wall / board every morning for daily schedule and breaks
read over rules and regulations if you have not already
check the room reservations to see if we have any events going on for the day
6. Be Alert and Present
Once you unlock the doors at 8 AM be sure to be alert and present at the desk or wherever you may be scheduled for the day.
Greet all guest, staff and coworkers to ensure a friendly welcoming environment.
7. Double check the front doors
Double check the front doors to ensure they are unlocked at the start of the day.
